How to use AudioFit

Pull the audio out of any video

Drop a video — or click to choose one — and AudioFit inspects it. If the video already has an AAC audio track, pick M4A and AudioFit copies the audio out losslessly and near-instantly, no re-encoding involved. Otherwise, pick WAV, MP3, or FLAC and AudioFit re-encodes the audio for you.

Your videos never leave your device

Everything happens in your browser. No upload, no server, no account — just drop the file and watch the progress bar. When it's done, AudioFit shows the duration and output size, and you download the audio.

Made for quick, local extraction

Grab the audio from a screen recording, a clip a friend sent you, a camera export, or any video file sitting on your device — MP4, MOV, WebM, and OGG are all supported.

FAQ

Is it free?

Yes — one file per run, up to 5 minutes long, is free forever, with M4A, WAV, and MP3 output. Pro (one-time) unlocks videos of any length, batch extraction of many files at once, lossless FLAC, and trimming to a start/end range before export.

Does it re-encode my audio?

Only when it has to. If your video's audio is already AAC and you choose M4A, AudioFit does a direct, lossless copy. Choosing WAV, MP3, or FLAC always re-encodes.

What video formats are supported?

MP4, MOV, WebM, and OGG.
